Welcome
[edit]I hope you don't feel left out. If you need any questions at all, then please ask me. You know, I think that being welcomed by an actual user is better than being welcomed by a bot. Anyway, cheers, and welcome to Wikipedia! Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 06:35, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- thank you.you know what kinda weirds me out though:wikipedia has 50 new changes every second or so, and the HRWiki only gets real recent changes action during an edit war or something. does nothing have an in the middle that i know of?
- Sorry, I didn't really follow. An "in the middle" what, exactly? Also, it would help if you put four tildes (~~~~) after your post to act as a signature. Cheers! Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 02:55, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
The text I removed was a copyright violation, which are not allowed on Wikipedia. Please do not reinsert it again. Thanks. Evil saltine (talk) 00:20, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for fighting vandalism all across Wikipedia. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 05:17, 7 March 2008 (UTC) |
Hey, you know what? I don't know if you know this, but you can go to WP:WARN and drop a warning template on the vandals' talk pages. Also, there is a page, WP:AIV (Administrators Intervention Against Vandalism), where you can get some vandals banned. Keep fighting vandalism, and please reply on my talk page! By the way, you can paste the above on your user page to show the whole world your barnstar. See WP:BARN for more details. Thanks! Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 05:17, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, vandal fighter. Perhaps you should warn User:64.229.228.40 for blanking terabit. Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 06:04, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]Hi there! I notice you are doing a great job reverting vandalism. Can I alert you to a problem? You need to check the history page of the article, because some vandals, like the recent vandal to Renaissance architecture do their vandalism in small bites rather than big chunks. The danger is that if you come along and revert only the last bit of vandalism, sometimes a serious problem can go unnoticed. This is because your edit comment indicates that you have fixed the problem. So you need to find the last unvandalised edit, and take the page right back to that place. If you look at the history of Renaissance architecture you'll see what I mean. On one such occasion a vandal had removed a quarter of a biography, and I didn't find it for six months. Onward and Upward! Let Vigilance and Diligence be your Bywords in the Great Fight!

P.S. The way to make sure that you haven't missed anything is to look at the number of bytes in brackets on the summary (History page). That is what alerted me to the fact that you were only doing partial reversions. Amandajm (talk) 10:29, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Perhaps you'd like rollback features? Cuyler91093 (Contribs) 03:06, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for reverting the vandalism to my talk page!
