Hi MeekMelange. Thanks for your feedback. I fixed the problem with Alfred North Whitehead - there was a hidden line break between the words "Universal" and "Algebra", which caused the italic markup to treat the two sets of ''modifiers as separate unclosed instructions. See this diff for both the problem and the solution.
