Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "JMU EUPS", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because It the name of the James Madison University and its program European Union Policy Studies (EUPS) and hence suggests a collective. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Kleuske (talk) 19:49, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Kleuske, I'm confused as to how the username "JMU EUPS" could violate the username policy as it is a collective. The page is by the JMU EUPS program and sponsored by the European Union Policy Studies Program under the direction of James Madison University. Is this a violation of the policy?
"Because Wikipedia's policy is that usernames should not be shared between more than one individual, usernames that imply the likelihood of shared use are not permitted. [...] Usernames that are simply names of companies or groups are not permitted"'. Yes. that is a violation of policy. Kleuske (talk) 20:08, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
