Speedy deletion nomination of DOGMA_(1994_film)
[edit]Hello Microfilm2012,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged DOGMA_(1994_film) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Krimin killr21 (talk) 22:26, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
The article DOGMA (1994 film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- This film does not pass the notability bar. I wasn't able to find any source for the claim about Burroughs and Phoenix. (nor for the claims that it was shown on US cable and in festivals) Moreover a good chunk of the article is perilously close to a copyright violation of this plot summary.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Pichpich (talk) 23:24, 22 August 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this recent edit to Shade and Shadow, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. This makes it difficult to establish consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Mephistophelian (talk) 20:51, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Creatures of Destiny. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Mephistophelian (talk) 20:57, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did at Gabriel Maitreya, you may be blocked from editing. Mephistophelian (talk) 20:58, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
Conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Microfilm2012. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may need to consider our guidance on conflicts of interest.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.
- I noticed via a search that you appear to the director of the films you keep adding. Please be aware that this can be considered self-promotion and a huge conflict of interest. Wikipedia is not a place for advertising yourself or your films and removing AfD templates is not the way to keep articles from being deleted. The best way to defend your articles is to discuss them on the AfD pages for each entry.Tokyogirl79 (talk) 16:25, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

Do not remove AfD templates or discussions
[edit]This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
- Do not remove AfD templates from the pages and do not blank AfD discussions. It will not stop the AfD from happening and the only thing that will result from this is that you will end up being blocked from the AfD. Since you've continued to do this despite multiple warnings, I am going to bring this up on the Admin board for vandalism. This does not automatically mean that you will be blocked, although I can't guarantee that won't happen. It just means that you've continued to vandalize and I'm going to bring it up so the admins are aware of what is going on.Tokyogirl79 (talk) 07:30, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
Your disruptive editing
[edit]I have blocked your account indefinitely because you have consistently ignored the warnings above not to remove AfD templates from talk pages, going as far as to blank an ongoing AfD discussion. This block is not necessarily intended to be permanent, but you will remain blocked until such time you can convince an administrator that you will not continue your disruptive behaviour if unblocked. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. CharlieEchoTango (contact) 08:06, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
