A tag has been placed on Avia Solutions Group, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Avia

Sorry, but I didn't delete it. I'm not an admin, and only they can delete and undelete. The reason for deletion was not that Avia doesn't exist, or that it is not mentioned anywhere. The reason I tagged it was that the article appeared to be over-promotional. Wikipedia is not a place for advertising, but is an encyclopaedia where things of note are recorded - and referenced. Please look at WP:NPOV and possibly WP:COI if you are connected to Avia or any associated company (perhaps in the PR field...). If you want to recreate the article, please take care to reword it in view of these policies. If you haven't kept a copy, you can ask an admin to undelete and userfy it. Userfy means to put it on a subpage of your userpage - but if this is done, make sure you put clearly at the top that it is in the course of being rewritten or one of the keen new accounts monitors will spot it and tag it again. Speedy deletion nomination of FL Technics

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. On my talk page, you said:

I want to ask you to restore the FL Technics article. It's not promotional, it's factual data. Also, I'd like to link the article to it's counterpart in Lithunian language (since it's a Lithuanian company). The reason I put this article on Wikipedia is that it's a continuation of now bancrupt flyLAL airlines - the only national airline in Lithuania. The airline had been reorganized into separate activities, such as commercial flights, charter flights (thus the Small Planet Airlines article that is a continuation on a previous flyLAL charter) and aircraft maintenance (thus FL Technics article which is a continuation of a previous flyLAL Technics). Maybe I should reflect that more in the History section of the article? Ar additionally put the article under some categories?

Per your request, the page had been restored to the userspace at User:MilesToCover/FL Technics. You may work on improving the article's assertion of notability at its new location, but please contact Fastily (talk · contribs), the administrator who deleted the page, before moving it back to the article space. Please see the criteria for speedy deletion and the relevant notability guidelines - articles that are not in compliance will be deleted. I've moved it back since the changes did neither address the problems of notability and promotional tone nor did you contact Fastily. As this is the same story as for Avia Solutions Group so you may want to start next time directly with a good userspace draft avoiding peacock terms and industry jargon relying on reliable independent sources. --Tikiwont (talk) 10:02, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.

If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
