Hello, I'm Guanaco. I noticed that in this edit to Sicily, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —Guanaco 11:00, 29 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hiya!

[edit]

You made an edit to the Italian profanity page that was unfortunately incorrect. Could you please explain why you changed it? Dinah Kirkland (talk) 19:00, 5 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

To add to what Dinah Kirkland has said, you should discuss the edits with them and not just continue to remove each other's edits. If an editor contacts you over an edit you should respond appropriately and not just return to the page and restore your version. This is considered edit warring and can easily lead to a block, the merits of the edits notwithstanding. Your edits did not include an edit summary to explain your actions. It is preferable if this is completed so others can understand what has been changed, and why. Collaboration and discussion between editors is essential to Wikipedia. Thank you. Meet In The Middle

[edit]

I have changed your edits but kept in yours at the same time. I think we should leave it like that. How do Ameircans say it: meet in the middle? Dinah Kirkland (talk) 13:26, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of most common surnames in Europe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amico (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Martin Scorsese

[edit]

I reverted your edit to Martin Scorsese. The provided citation indicated that Scorsese is also an Italian citizen. As such, your edit appeared to be inappropriate. --Yamla (talk) 14:57, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
