May Drive
[edit]So, came by to ask some questions about the drive and thought you would be able to answer them. Do you know who updates the leaderboard and when? Also, what do you do when you think you have "completed" fixing an article? InfernusIsHiding-Talk 15:16, 6 May 2015 (UTC) (I'm forgetting signatures again :/)
- We update our own numbers (which are checked as needed), and you can see WP:Basic copyediting for advice. When you're done with an article (some articles need more work, others less), you record it on your drive list. All the best, Miniapolis 21:42, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
- Also, when you have completed an article, remove the "copy edit" tag that is typically at the top of the article. – Jonesey95 (talk) 01:40, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Accusations
[edit]Please withdraw your personal attack on me. Not only is it untrue in any shape or form but completely without any form of evidence either. As an admin you should know better than to throw this sort of thing around. To be frank, after the amount of time I have spent on Wikipedia creating articles for no form of reward other than the occasional thank you, it leaves a bad taste. Philafrenzy (talk) 14:17, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- I made no personal attack; IMO, your actions belie your words. WP:AGF is not a suicide pact, and WP's verifiability policy and notability guideline trump an editor who refuses to accept consensus. I request this very rarely, but please don't post on my talk page; any disagreement between us belongs on the pages in question. Miniapolis 15:52, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

A thanks/request
[edit]First of all, I would like to thank you for copy-editing Christopher Nolan's biography a few years back. Now accepted as a GA-article, it has been radically re-written and I hope to make this a FA in the not too distant future. Sending you a message in part to thank, but also in hope of soliciting your time for a quick read-through/copy-edit. Feel free to disregard this request if you don't have the time or interest.
All the best, Sammyjankis88 (talk) 20:01, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
- Didn't want to leave you hanging but no, I'm too busy right now (and don't accept copyedit requests anyway). I (and other copyeditors) work on the Guild of Copy Editors requests page, so I suggest listing it there and nominating it for FA after another copyedit; articles change over time. Good luck and all the best, Miniapolis 20:26, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
