- But please be aware of Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, which discourages the expression of opinions in Wikipedia. I think you went a bit too far at Victorian gold rush and History of Victoria, and I've edited those pages accordingly. Graham87 15:22, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
The main article about Victorian Aborigines
[edit]The text that you added to John Batman is both shocking and fascinating, but could you consider moving/copying some of it to Victorian Aborigines, which seems to need a lot of tender loving care? In particular, some of the text that you added to Batman's article does not directly relate to him, as the events noted in it occurred after his death. Graham87 15:07, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
What you are now adding
[edit]To Victoria is a clear case of WP:UNDUE - it should be in the Victorian Aborigines article (and summarised with a see also indicator in Victoria, and expanded in the sub article) - not in the upper part of the general article about Victoria - take care - as suddenly jumping in with your enthusiasm to state a case/issue is not what wikipedia WP:ABOUT - you should listen carefully to others, and also be very careful at looking where things already are - take care SatuSuro 11:28, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Melbourne appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. I appreciate what you are trying to do but Wikipedia must hold to a neutral point of view and editors must avoid using Wikipedia to promote their personal point of view. Your edits
[edit]Hello, I would second the comments above; but if you can manage an article on Eumeralla wars (which did happen) that would be useful, Old Melbourne Memories has one slant; damned if I know where the Hentys went north from Portland before 1838 (and, if they did, there were no aborigines, due to the thick bushland); they did go for a ride east in November 1834 though nothing untoward noted in the diaries. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
