One way to make friends, I guess, is to participate in a WikiProject that is active. Just think of things you are interested in (I have no idea what you would be interested in – maybe Wikipedia:WikiProject Football or Wikipedia:WikiProject Mexico?), and join a relevant project, and help them with an article or something...
If you want to learn how to edit, a couple places to start would be WP:CHEAT and Wikipedia:How to edit a page.
If you want to make a user page, (the style on my bio is a common one), just look around at other peoples', find something you like, and copy what they have. Then you can change the details to fit what you want to say. It's OK to do so.

Asunción Nochixtlán[edit]

Ok but remember you are writing to a foriegn audience. Your source is written to a Mexican audience with the assumption that this audience knows who Quetzalcoatl is.
