Spin-Off[edit]

The Senator[edit]

Taking place after the Sick Bastards series ends the story revolves around a faild journalist, Ben, who uncovers a series of cluse that point to a horrifying plot surrounding the upcoming presidential election. Shawn, whose role is reprised by Cillian Murphy, is at the center of this plot as the senator. Billy Boyd also reprises his role as Billy for a cameo appearence in the film.

Principle Cast[edit]

Adrien Brody as Ben, story narrator, former journalist who now works for Shawn's campaign.

Cillian Murphy as Shawn, featured in Sick Bastards series, now a senator vying for the presidency.

Nichole Kidman as Sarah, Shawn's fiance and campaign manager with a sinister agenda.(Kidman portrayed the character of Bergens Girl in Sick Bastards, the two roles are different and unrelated)

Kevin Spacey as opposing presidential candidate.

Topher Grace as campaign manager

Jon Voight as the President, featured in Sick Bastards series, outgoing president.

Ted Danson as Senate Majority Leader

The Junior Class of the 2008-2009 school year held its annual elections on September 30,2008. Incumbant Angela Pustizy chose not to run for re-election, instead she chose to run for president. Only Incumbant Senator Nichole Hitchner ran for a second term. Political newcomers and Independents, Elizabeth Maxwell and Shawn Riggins chose to run for the junior senate. After election day was delayed, the results arrived on September 30. Hitchner failed to garner enough votes to stay in office. Riggins and Maxwell where formally inagurated on October 23, 2008.

The Senior Class of 2010 held it final Senate elections on September 18,2009. Both Incumbant Senators Elizabeth Maxwell and Shawn Riggins announced their plans for vying for a second term. After the nominations opened a slew of individuals opted for the two senate seats. Upon this advent, the Student Government decided to add a third senate seat bringing the total number of Senior Senators to three. Senator Shawn Riggins stayed on as an Independant candidate, Senator Elizabeth Maxwell changed party affiliations becoming a Democrat. As election day approched some nominees dropped from the race leaving six people to fight for the three senate seats. The election resulted in the re-election of Senators Riggins and Maxwell and the election of former Secretary Katherine Kennedy.
