Welcome

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means, and on Notability (music) for more detail. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted.

Hi. Before you put a lot of effort into your Janet Jackson Album article, please read WP:NALBUMS and WP:HAMMER. The point is that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and deals in facts backed up by reliable sources, not in rumours. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 17:59, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:CRYSTAL

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
