Speedy deletion nomination of S R Associates
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on S R Associates requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]Hello, I'm Cyphoidbomb. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. [edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! -- Toddy1 (talk) 10:50, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
Hi Mrdeezr! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Tata Group that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. -- Toddy1 (talk) 10:50, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Tata Group, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you.-- Toddy1 (talk) 10:50, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- I think I have provided the reason for removal of that content. That content referring expired links as resources and we have a dedicated section pertaining to the controversies surrounding the group Mrdeezr (talk) 09:59, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
- This edit by you had a good edit summary] (though it was not a minor edit). But this second edit by you did not have a user-generated edit summary and like the first one, was not a minor edit.
- Wikipedia:Link rot is not a reason for removing citations.-- Toddy1 (talk) 11:48, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
Please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section, which says that the lead section should identify the topic and summarise the body of the article. So it is not appropriate to delete statements from the lead on the grounds that they are covered by a section in the body of the article. -- Toddy1 (talk) 10:53, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
