Hi Multi-gesture. I saw in your contributions that in several articles you've added content that is contained verbatim in http://lib.ohchr.org/HRBodies/UPR/Documents/session12/SY/KIS-KurdsinSyria-eng.pdf . Did you maybe copy the content from there? If so, that would be problem with copyright. Could you clear up what's happening here, so we can see how to best fix this? 92.64.31.85 (talk) 12:55, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No I didn't copy the content and I rewrote it by the reference.Multi-gesture (talk) 17:22, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rojava and Tell-Abyad

[edit]

You added many information about the violations committed by the Syrians governments against Kurds which is true.

Yet, you deleted recent sourced information about the flows of Kurdish! You need to keep an NPOV on Wikipedia. I restored the material deleted by you but didnt delete the material that you claimed was deleted. Rojava is under 1 revert per day rule. You have already reverted more than once and if you revert again you might be blocked for violating the rule

As for tell-Abyad, I qoute from the source : Tell Abyad is inhabited by interconnected Arab tribes, mostly the Qais tribe, locally pronounced as Jais. [1].--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 18:20, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I explained the reverting reasons in edit summaries, you can read it. The sentence "Arabs are the majority" is not in citation. What mentioned by the citation is different and its about Arab, Kurdish and Turkmen tribes who live in the area. If you want you can fix it.--Multi-gesture (talk) 18:27, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring and violating the one-revert rule, as you did at Rojava. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  —Darkwind (talk) 05:17, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please read this notification carefully:
A community decision has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to the Syrian Civil War and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

This message is informational only and does not imply misconduct regarding your contributions to date.

Please note that you have been blocked already for violating the one-revert rule described in this notice, despite not having received this notice previously. That is because the revert restriction does not require a prior warning to be enforced. This notice is specifically to inform you that you may face additional sanctions if you continue to demonstrate poor editing behavior on pages in this topic area. —Darkwind (talk) 05:28, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

tel abyad and rojava

[edit]

I neutralized Tel Abyad city and district in regards to Kurds numbers claims. the "CLAIMS" of Fehim Taştekin (a columnist) are not more reliable than the claims of the governor of salinurfa. Yet you present them as facts because they suit what you want (claiming Kurds are 45%), and you add the word "claims" to cast doubt over the sentences you dont like. I suggest, when your block is over, that you do not rush and revert immediately as it will be a violation of the Wikipedia:Neutral point of view policy.

As for Rojava, I changed the Arab Militia section title to Syrian opposition. Keeping it in its current form is POV. This is Wikipedia not a Kurdish Nationalist forum. Those Militias have the Opposition stigma as their special character not Arab. Unless ofcourse you prefer that we change the title of YPG Militia section into "Kurdish Militia".

I listed ISIS crime in an ISIS section and not under the Arab Militia section. Again, you cant ascribe ISIS to the Arabs as if not hundreds of Kurds are fighting for it (and Turks, Afghans, Chechens, Europeans, Berbers, and even Chinese !) I also urge you that you stop this campaign to make ISIS Arab. Read here ISIS Soldiers, and after you read it, I hope that you could restrain yourself and stop ascribing ISIS to Arabs and ISIS crimes to Arab Militias. If you continue to do this, you will be reported for POV pushing and Wikipedia:Single-purpose account which would usually give you indefinite block.--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 07:12, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

These articles need more naturalization and I would make some changes after the unblocking. ISIS and FSA are both Arab-led organizations as the YPG is Kurdish-led (but many Arabs and Assyrians have been joined in its ranks), there's no doubt about this (as I showed by the references). Also, I would add more war-crimes which have been committed by these Arab groups.--Multi-gesture (talk) 11:38, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As long as you dont claim ISIS is an Arab group and as long as you keep appropriate titles. We dont ascribe the crimes of YPG to Kurds and you cant ascribe the crimes of FSA to Arabs. Just remember, there are claims everywhere, and the ones that support YPG are still claims not facts. We are dealing with war factions here not ethnicities. This isnt about Arabs and Kurds. Its about YPG, ISIS, Syrian opposition and Syrian regime.--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 16:18, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Admins notice board

[edit]

In response to the recent conflicts in editing, I made a report here Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Rojava_ethnic_warring. This is not a report like the edit war report, but a way to get a neutral solution since we seem unable to reach it on the talk page. Thanks.--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 22:39, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked indefinitely

[edit]

I've blocked your account indefinitely as it is quite obvious to me that you are only here to push a racist agenda and stoke ethnic tensions. Wikipedia is not a battleground.

If you wish to appeal this block, you may follow the instructions given in Darkwind's block above. Magog the Ogre (tc) 03:05, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Magog the Ogre, What are your reasons that my account's contributions are racist and stoke ethnic tensions? Some users, have made the Syria Kurdish Related articles a place to propagating their unfair propaganda rumors which were referenced by oiviously unreliable sources. My effort was to neutralize them through discussion in the articles' talk pages and when I needed to prove my added contents, I referenced them only by uncontroversial creditable references. Some users (ie. "عمرو بن كلثوم" an in a lesser extent "Attar-Aram syria") have used these pages for spreading their pure ethnocentric and ultra-nationalist ideas and this must be stopped. My account's block is clearly based on unfounded unsound claims and it's a truly unfair decision! Multi-gesture (talk) 07:42, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

After reviewing your edits, I concur that you are clearly WP:NOTHERE. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:36, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
