If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mohammad Nasim Faqiri requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Peter Chastain (talk) 06:59, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are entitled to weigh in, and state why you think this article should remain on the wikipedia. I wrote that I thought you were the victim of lapses from WP:BITE, which calls for more experienced contributors to be nice to new contributors, who can`t possibly know our policies. Brand new articles are supposed to get a bit of a grace period. More experienced contributors are supposed to help the new contributor by directing them to where they can read about how to bring their contributions into compliance with our rules.
I wrote that I hoped you overlooked the lapses from our policies you experienced in your initial attempts to contribute here, and stated why you thought the Mohammad Nasim Faqiriarticle should remain, and helped expand and improve the article.

Ignore this section. User:Assassin's Creed was not supposed to nominate the article for speedy deletion after just nominating it for ordinary deletion. Geo Swan (talk) 21:41, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dont be chased away...

[edit]

Several contributors have admonished the contributor who has tried to delete the article you started on Mohammad Nasim Fariqi, for being overly hasty on that and other articles.

I made some efforts to rescue it. The section headings I removed can be added back in when there are referecnes to flesh out those sections.

So, don`t be chased away!

Are you from Afghanistan?

[edit]

Are you from Afghanistan?

All I know about Afghanistan is what I have read, online, or seen on TV. Were you living in Afghanistan prior to 9-11? If so, can I ask what your experience of the USA`s aerial bombardment while the Taliban were being overthrown was like?

I know the USA believed Osama bin Laden was in the Tora Bora region in the late fall of 2001. But, from some of the DoD documents I have read, it seems like they were sometimes prepared to call all of Nangarhar the Tora Bora region.

Anyhow, if you are still living in Afghanistan I wish for Afghanistan, peace, prosperity, and repair and development of the nation`s infrastructure.
