- Thank you for creating the article on Bel Canto Summer School. To ensure that this article remains in place, I would recommend citing independent coverage of the summer school, to demonstrate its "notability", in addition to writings about the bel canto technique as such: Noyster (talk), 13:16, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Bel Canto Summer School
[edit]The article Bel Canto Summer School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- There are no references to published writing specifically about the Summer School, to demonstrate its notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Robert Toft's books and YouTube videos
[edit]Hello, Musicavera. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Tempo, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

[edit]Hello Notfrompedro, I'm User:musicavera. I'm puzzled by your deletions. The things I add to wikipdedia are either corrections/expansions of articles or material for further reading/external links. All of these additions refer to scholarly work that will further the goals of spreading knowledge in an accessible way. These are not promotional materials, as they all come from publicly available sources. I make these changes in the hope that readers will be interested in information not currently in the articles. Thanks.
- You shouldn't be puzzled because you were warned earlier to disclose your WP:COI and you ignored it. Since 2014 you have done nothing except promote Robert Toft and his classes and videos. This is a single purpose account being used solely for promotional purposes. Notfrompedro (talk) 16:36, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, Musicavera/Robert,
- You can't use Wikipedia to promote your books and YouTube channel. It goes against our ethos to be used as advertising for individuals no matter how relevant you think your work is to the subjects we cover. If you have questions about Wikipedia policies and guidelines, please bring them to the Teahouse. Liz Read! Talk! 15:35, 8 August 2021 (UTC)

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Musical expression. The article Robert Toft has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The only references are Toft himself. The creator has spent seven years solely promoting Toft so likely autobio.
