Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Stripper. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Joseph2302 (talk) 21:35, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There are links to other websites on that page. If the link I have added is inappropriate, then the rest that other users have added should be removed as well. It doesn't seem fair to single out one user when there are numerous examples of the same thing happening (without any action being taken) courtesy of other users. There are links to a few websites dealing with strippers on that page. It would be advisable to edit those sections as well, if my addition to the article does not fit.

Kind regards, Mveratucci (talk) 21:47, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

On further viewing, it seems there are lots of similar links in the article. Whilst I believe none of them are actually very reliable sources, it definitely wasn't a case of spam-linking, like I wrongly implied. Seems you also only reverted 3 times too, so I've withdrawn the request. My mistake, I would have self-reverted, if you hadn't added it already. Also, can I say that I am not a bully. Sometimes I make mistakes, but I never intend to bully editors, and never deliberately work with other editors to bully other users. I was confused by this accusation, and was wondering what your evidence for this was? Joseph2302 (talk) 21:18, 2 April 2015 (UTC) Other people have looked at this case and agree the link you were adding is promotional. Just because other links were similar doesn't make adding this one correct. Joseph2302 (talk) 23:26, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Strippers

[edit]

You need to remove your last revert of my edit -- you have violated WP:3RR. I suggest you do so with due haste before someone notices and hands out a block. Quis separabit? 23:47, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Mveratucci reported by User:Joseph2302 (Result: ). Thank you. Joseph2302 (talk) 23:50, 1 April 2015 (UTC)  Request withdrawn I've withdrawn this request, reasons explained above. Joseph2302 (talk) 21:19, 2 April 2015 (UTC) This request has not been withdrawn, I still believe you were edit warring. Joseph2302 (talk) 23:26, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is a terrible, spammy link. It is in no way consistent with WP:RS. If there are worse links on the page, fix them; don't add more. If other editors have a problem with your edits, please stop and discuss your proposed additions. I'm assuming you were not aware of our rules on edit warring, so please note that any future reversions should be carefully considered. Kuru (talk) 03:00, 4 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
