[edit]
There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Longhair\talk 15:23, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I believe that my conduct (under any account or IP address) is not connected in any way with the block. I believe that I have been autoblocked because I am in the same IP range. I would like to edit the Hornsey Town Hall page which fully referenced, factual information. Thank you.

Decline reason:

You are blocked directly, not autoblocked. You will need to follow the instructions in your block notice and address the reasons for your block- your username and promotional editing. If you represent or work for an organization, you will need to review WP:COI and WP:PAID. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:52, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Thank you for your feedback 331dot I wish to update the Recent history section of the Hornsey Town Hall page as the existing copy (not written by me) is mostly not referenced. It is also missing lots of information which I will provide with the relevant sources. I am seeking to make the changes in a productive way and my account is not promotional in any way. The latest message I have is that the block will expire tomorrow but I have been sent this message before and still find myself blocked (without doing any editing). Thank you for your help.

Decline reason:

No. That would be a violation of WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:PROMO, as has been previously pointed out to you. Note also that your block is indefinite. It will only be removed once we are sure you will abide by Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Yamla (talk) 11:26, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock reviewed Thank you Yamla. I have read the guidelines for WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:PROMO. I have completed a COI template as I am a trustee of Hornsey Town Hall Trust which is a voluntary body. I am not paid. I do not believe the edits are promotional as all will be referenced to external sources such as Council Cabinet Minutes of decisions taken relating to this project, newspaper articles and published reports which are in the public domain.

Request reason:

I have declared an interest which has appeared on the sandbox page; I am therefore requesting an unblock in order to update this page with fully referenced sources. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do. Thank you.N8HTH (talk) 15:55, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficiently convincing for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. O Still Small Voice of Clam (formerly Optimist on the run) 14:02, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Thank you for getting back to me. I am requesting an unblock in order to add factual information about the recent history of Hornsey Town Hall, all of which will be fully referenced. I will not use this for advertising or promotional purposes; all the information I propose to post is factual, in the public domain, and will be referenced. To give you some examples, I wish to add the fact that Hornsey Town Hall was added to English Heritage's (now Heritage at Risk) At Risk Register in 2000 (link is https://historicengland.org.uk/advice/heritage-at-risk/search-register/list-entry/48503); information on the several feasibility studies over the last fifteen years (link is https://www.minutes.haringey.gov.uk/Data/Cabinet/20040615/Agenda/$Item%2018ii%20%20Hornsey%20Town%20HallMinutes.doc.pdf); details about the three architects who have worked on Hornsey Town Hall, (one link here https://www.hamhigh.co.uk/news/roundhouse-team-to-design-16m-hornsey-town-hall-1-628845); details about the way in which the Town Hall has been used for arts projects and as a filming location over the last decade (one link here https://www.broadwayworld.com/uk-regional/article/MILLERS-CROSSING-Completes-Run-at-Crouch-End-with-Secret-Cinemas-TELL-NO-ONE-20140528). I would also like to provide much more information on the OJEU tender for the restoration and development of Hornsey Town Hall (link here: http://ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:402048-2015:TEXT:EN:HTML), as well as an update on the current state of the refurbishment project (link here: https://www.architectsjournal.co.uk/news/fifth-time-lucky-make-becomes-latest-name-linked-to-hornsey-town-hall-revamp/10018700.article). I am doing this in good faith in order to update the page and I hope this gives you adequate information about the type of additions to the text I wish to make. I will abide by Wikipedia community customs and do not seek to use the page for advertising or promotion of any of the several special interest groups involved in this project. I wish simply to ensure that the page is kept up to date and is factually accurate. With thanks for your help.N8HTH (talk) 15:22, 15 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
