There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 19:17, 16 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I have no intention on spam or causing any type of online vandalism. I simply wanted to add my company name to one of the wiki pages that talks about the different associations and industry. I am one single person and this should not be seen as a company account.

Decline reason:

*You forgot to "Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked" as explained above;
  • "Adding your company name to the wiki page" is not allowed per WP:COI and WP:SPAM. If your goal here is to promote your company, you will not be unblocked. Vanjagenije (talk) 19:59, 16 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I was contributing to the page by adding another association to the lists. With no intention to spam, advertise or anything else. Just contribute to the page by adding another association.

Decline reason:

Yes, in violation of WP:COI and WP:PAID. And you have still not done this: "Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked" Yamla (talk) 14:04, 20 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Just delete my account. I don't care to make any changes on this site.

Decline reason:

This is not an unblock request, but please see below. Yunshui  16:25, 20 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Wikipedia accounts can't be deleted, but I can rename it away from what I presume is your real name if you wish? Just let me know if you want me to do that. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:37, 20 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

i DON'T WANT THIS ACCOUNT ASSOCIATED WITH MY REAL NAME

Accept reason:

Accepted as a rename request and renamed (but not unblocked). If you intended to continue to use the account, the new name might not be acceptable as it implies a role account (which is not allowed), but just for an account that's to be abandoned it seems fine.
