ClueBot NG
I have updated some information about Manohar Aich , that was directly taken from their family, however your bot ClueBot NG seems to have removed it. The reason mentioned was, "Possible vandalism". I have personally spoken to Krishnendu Aich and confirmed that all the information were true. Unfortunately there was no other reference published in any newspaper. So it's my kind request to publish this information in Wikipedia, so that Indians could know about the unknown hero of India. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashish7t9 (talk • contribs) 09:42, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Ashish, I'm not sure why ClueBot removed your edit, I can only think that it triggered off some filter. But anyway, if the information you stated was not published in any reliable sources and you got the information from a conversation with the person, then it would count as original research and therefore not be allowed. I suggest that you read the links I've just posted regarding original research and reliable sources so that you're familiar with those policies.--5 albert square (talk) 20:43, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
cluebot being defeated by teaming on twister lolly article
hi it seems cluebot NG can't cope with vandals who team up against it, today on twister(ice lolly) article, cluebot reverted a rude vandal but left behind vandalism caused by the other teaming vandal, i had to revert cluebot and manually remove the junk myself, isn't there a super cluebot you and crispy can make that can deal with tagteam vandals?--Lerdthenerd wiki defender 09:20, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
Interesting idea
Since you're not busy or anything... Jimbo asked about how he could a) see if he missed anything on his watchlist and b) know which watchlisted edits were more likely to be vandalism. The second part seems like an ideal project for CBNG or STiki, as part of a .js tool that I thought you might have an idea about or interest in. It could add the CBNG neural network score, or STiki metadata score (or both) next to each watchlist edit. Perhaps it would color code edits by reliability, or flag them after a certain threshold. Theoretically, users could even set their own threshold, either globally or for individual articles. I have no idea what it would take to implement this, but as long as there was full access to the CBNG/STiki servers (which might require moving them somewhere more robust) then every edit could get scored in this way. I mentioned you at the discussion, since this is your territory. Cheers! Ocaasi c 23:48, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
ClueBot III
It looks like one of your bots, ClueBot III (talk · contribs), has a malfunction. It archives section multiple times from WP:FFU, because it don't remove these sections. (like [1], [2], [3] and [4].) Armbrust WrestleMania XXVII Undertaker 19–0
Hello
Thanks for your note but I am must admit I am a little perplexed.I visit Wikipedia only for consultation and do not recall making any edit at all and certainly have not made this edit. How it appeared on my laptop is a mystery as only I use it.I should be grateful if you could possibly explain.Regards.Ashok
- Hello Ashok, as you are editing from an IP, it looks as if you've got a message destined for another. This can happen if your IP changes each time you log on to the internet. If that's the case please accept ClueBot NG's apologies and I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia.--5 albert square (talk) 23:01, 11 April 2011 (UTC)--5 albert square (talk) 23:01, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
