I got confused about use of images. I read in Gregory Youning that there is an issue with copyright as material in museums (in this instance, parfleche) were not necessarily collected with permission from Aboriginal peoples. If it fits with Wikipedia copyright policies AND there is permissoion from the creators (Lakota Nation), then by all meams it should stay.NavBaj StudentEditor (talk) 01:25, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

While it's best to discuss any changes to the articles on their associated talk pages (and I have left you a message there), I also wanted to leave you a note here on user talk, as this goes to editing on Wikipedia in general. I see you are probably still working, so I will not revert you yet, but be careful with these edits. Native cultures still exist in the present day. Be careful of relying on outdated sources, written by by non-Natives decades or generations ago. Do not past-tense Natives, or replace content sourced to solid, contemporary Native sources with outdated content. Integrate your work with what is already sourced in the article, rather than simply deleting it and replacing it wholesale, otherwise your contributions may wind up reverted. Wikipedia articles are a place for collaboration, not posting personally authored papers. Please correct these problems you have introduced into the article or your changes will be reverted. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 23:25, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
Since you continued to edit in the same manner, past-tensing living cultures and people, without engaging on talk, I've reverted you. Some of the content you want to add is useful, but it must be properly integrated in regards to context and tone. Do not just replace what is there with what you've written in your sandbox. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 00:12, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Parfleche, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. You are removing Lakota sources and images with no explanation. Start over. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 01:05, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
You aren't addressing any of the issues with tone or tense, and simply keep hitting revert to insert your sandbox version. This is edit-warring, not collaboration. I don't think you understand how WP works. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 18:26, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
Some of these sources and even the basic material is good. Some of the writing you've done is good, really; some of it just needs a rewrite for context and tone, and better understanding of the collaborative process here. I'm working on it now. Just have some patience. :) - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 19:06, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
