SFportal.hu

Dear Nyenyedi, I saw my page SFportal.hu flagged for speedy deletion by you, and I don't understand, why. This page is in the right category (science fiction website), the content is relevant and true. This is one of my first sci-fi page on the English wikipedia.

best regards Merras

I have a few images that I am looking to add to the encyclopedia. after I upload them to wikimedia commons, how can I find the tags to put them on a page? Nenyedi 01:39, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

You might find Help:Images and other uploaded files and Wikipedia:Images helpful. Basically, images are put on a page with [[Image:filename.jpg|thumb|caption]]. See the help pages for more formats. Don't worry about uploading to the English Wikipedia, if it's on Commons, it'll still work. Hope that helps, and feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any more questions! --Keitei (talk) 02:45, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Dear Nenyedi, I saw my page flagged for speedy deletion and I wasn't even finished with it. I have added to it, and I hope it is at least long enough to be a stub for now. Please reconsider. I don't want my first page to be deleted. Lewa2321 02:40, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Your VandalProof Application

Dear Nenyedi,

Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that you don't yet have 250 edits. We try to make this a minimum for VP applicants. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof.

You recently added a speedy delete tag to the article Sophomore Sizzle. That article is now moved onto the "Articles for Deletion" process. I would appreciate your input at the deletion discussion here! - Jhinman 03:31, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Samuel Segal

I think that the delete notice was a bit abrupt. I had just started the article and saved it. If you edit the article, you will find a mass of information commented out, which I shall re-format into encyclopaedic form.--Brownlee 13:20, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under main here). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof.

I'm sorry but you only have about half of the count you need. We usually only make exceptions for people with very close to 250 edits or a large number of WP edits --frothT 18:30, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I removed the db-Bio tag from the article, since I think he is notable (600+ google hits for "William Mason" 1810 architect is pretty good for someone who is dead since 100 years). Note: I am not involved in the topic otherwise, just doing WP:NPP. If you disagree, please feeld ree to add the notability tag or an afd if you wish. Happy editing -- Chris 73 | Talk 13:32, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

This one also seems to be a valid medicine topic, just described in a horrible ununderstandable (ie. doctor#s) way. I removed your DBnonsense tag, and added wikify and med stub. As before, if you disagree, feel free to use notability or afd. Best wishes and happy editing .-.Chris 73 | Talk 13:51, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

Misplaced comment on user page

I hope I'm in the right place to leave a comment. I'd like to leave the entry open to other contributions, and also need time to finish my part of the article. Itsmasel

Why did you create a redirectory? Kkrystian 14:32 (UTC+1) 16 January 2007

Ivan Kupala

Why did you flag my article as Category: Candidates for speedy deletion? Ivan Kupala is a quite popular musical group both within Russia and the international markets. Could you ellaborate on your actions please?

Regarding edits made to Family Adventure Films

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Nenyedi! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bexample\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. It is a valid article I've started for the Fiat CEO. cheers. Taalo 23:25, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks for your message on my talk page. This individual is notable, to say the least. I had removed your deletion request, but just put it back. I read that I as the creator of the article should note delete it. I do believe this request is a waste of time though, but whatever. :) Taalo 00:37, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

The article "Sergio Marchionne" was deleted as a copyright violation. Therefore, the content you have tagged cannot be a repost, as it was added by a respected user who has cited his sources. You are also deleting people's comments from the article's talk page, which is vandalism. They are the only people who can do that, unless they are nonsense or personal attacks.--Join the Revolution 01:49, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

ok. Sorry about the whole argument. Take care.--Join the Revolution 01:58, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Please stop re-adding your request for speedy deletion. You are wasting people's time doing this. Someone already looked at your request and found it unwarranted. At this point you yourself should be able to determine that Mr. Marchionne is notable by just looking at the current article. good day. Taalo 18:07, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Dear Nenyedi, I saw your request for speedy deletion of the Tygon article. Tygon is a brand name which holds a strong prescence in the tubing market and often has the name Tygon used when the proper word would be "tubing". The article I posted was an effort to educate users that Tygon is a brand of products not an actual product. I will continue to edit the article in an effort to make it more educational based about tubing products in general. Jdbrinkman 22:32, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Critisism

This individual, Nate, appears to have little more to do than go around placing speedy deletion tags. It would be more useful if he ceased being a nuisance.

Look, I've seen your record. You tag pages such as Sergio Marchionne without thoroughly examining the situation (even putting back a tag after an administrator clears the page). Then you yourself have created clearly non-notable pages such as Dr. Pete Macfarlene (!!). What you need to do is re-evaluate your own approach instead of simply becoming defensive. Disk space is incredibly cheap; it is better to be err on the side of caution than go about asking for things to be deleted left and right. You should really consider what is more a nuisance: a page containing a few lines of text that lingers for awhile, or someone continuously jumping the gun to have other's work deleted. The latter can easily become a waste of time for administrators, not to mention editors who have worked to create pages and then find them vaporized. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.105.102.249 (talk) 22:46, 18 February 2007 (UTC).

Image tagging for Image:Ezrafitch.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Ezrafitch.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Hi, and thanks for the buscuits

Thanks Nenyedi for the welcome message and the plate of virtual biscuits (or should that be virtual plate of biscuits? Humm...) I'm still finding my way around this website, but am pretty impressed so far.

See you around.

'spam nazi' entry - overzealous spam nazi

Think about it. Of all and any articles that the fine wikipedia should have, 'spam nazi' should be one of them. So I place a stub, and it is marked for deletion. Can you see the irony in this? Drew from Zhrodague 20:36, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
