Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Nikola-Sedlarski, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Always

[edit]
WP:AGF - you need to prove to the admin who deleted the page the relationship - and also explain why a user page is linked to a biographical page
WP:NPA - your comments suggest passive aggressive - - you can be blocked for making assumptions about other editors

So - the process - you need to be very polite and explain to the admin:

About the connection between https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Nikola-Sedlarski and that it is not the same as https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Zhivko_Sedlarski&action=edit&redlink=1
also you need to explain that you understand the tags the admin placed WP:YFA WP:COI WP:RS WP:Notability (people) do not apply to the article in question - if you wish for it to be restored.

I had no intention of any harm to you or your father in the process which I went through as normal part of the editing day. It doesnt make anybody anything - if you have a need to vent about the issue, please be very careful who you do it to - or it basically undoes your credibility in the eyes of anyone reviewing the issue. In fact I no longer wish to pursue any of the issues, it is now for you to find an active admin to help in the process.

you can go to the talk page of the admin who deleted the article, or use the HELP tag, or simply ask me further if you so wish, I am not an admin.

cheers JarrahTree 09:34, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Take care - tone it all down, and try to get advice from people prepared to take time to take you through the links above to make sure that a created article can deal with those policies... JarrahTree 10:06, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for you return, I sent a message to the admin. Could I consult with you once I'm ready with the page and give me your opinion? Thank you in advance, Nikola-Sedlarski (talk) 12:27, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

COI

[edit]

You have an obvious conflict of interest when you write about a close relative, so I don't see why you think that WP:YFA WP:COI WP:RS WP:Notability (people) don't apply. All article must meet our criteria.

Please read the following regarding writing an article

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that he meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to you, him or an affiliated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what you or he claim or interviewing its him. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • you must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. talent quickly raises him to the leadership of the Union of Sculptors in Brittany and the Bulgarian receives many orders... where he first touched the magic of art. is unsourced promotional wording.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • you must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your father is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also guidance for editors with conflicts of interest

If you still wish to work on this article, please make sure that he meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. Some of your references seem to be just quoting your father, and therefore are not independent sources.

He is probably notable, and I've seen worse, so I'm prepared to restore as a draft with the promotion removed. You will have to find better references and to reference the completely unsource list of exhibitions. Do you wish to proceed on that basis? Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:18, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Zhivko Sedlarski

[edit]

Hello, Nikola-Sedlarski. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Zhivko Sedlarski".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:59, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
