[edit]

Hello Nirozoss. I notice that you removed the Orphan tag which i had placed on André Kalfayan. I have put it and a couple of others back; please don't remove them again without discussing them or correcting the issues they point out.

The purpose of tags such as these is not to say anything bad, either about the subject of the article or the article itself; it is simply to point out to editors or potential editors that there may be some issues or problems with the article ~ and ideally they will be inspired to start to correct them. In this particular case, the Orphan tag means that nothing else ~ no other articles in Wikipedia ~ links to André Kalfayan. This is true, so the tag should not be removed. In addition, i have put a tag showing that the language use in the article is not excellent (is English perhaps not your first language?); i have put this on my list of things to work on but, to be honest, i do not always come back to that list, so i hope that someone else might also see the problems and fix them. Also, the references you have given are not clear, that is, it isn't clear which reference verifies which statement in the article, so i have put a tag which points that out, too.

Again, please understand that these tags are not a badge of shame or anything of the sort; they simply point out ways the article might be improved.

If i can help in any way, please let me know! Cheers, LindsayHello 03:38, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of André Kalfayan

[edit]

The article André Kalfayan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not Notable. See Wikipedia:Notability#Self-promotion_and_indiscriminate_publicity. Also: No reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
