- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! kashmiri 10:11, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
March 2013
[edit]Hello, I'm Sminthopsis84. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Cox's Bazaar, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please check carefully before adding statements just before a citation footnote, you are claiming that the cited sources make these statements, which they do not. Cox's Bazaar longest beach
[edit]Please don't remove that "by some people" again. There are many definitions of a beach, and different beaches around the world are "the longest" by the different definitions. It doesn't make sense to say "is considered the longest beach in the world" if not everyone considers it to be the longest. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 14:06, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
Your edits
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Bangladesh-related articles. Unfortunately, the majority of your edits (even though done in good faith), had to be reverted. If you acquainted yourself with Manual of Style and Wikipedia policies in your free time, it might help in improving the quality of your contributions. kashmiri 10:21, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
- Please also read WP:SPAM and the external links policies - many of your additions are not reliable sources and are purely to spam sites. Also, when you add an entire sentence and a link, please don't mark that as "minor" (✉→BWilkins←✎) 11:55, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
Your question regarding CALNET article
[edit]Hello Nivedita 222, i believe i fixed your problem with the infobox at CALNET article. Some parameters had the wrong parameter name (they are without preceding "Company ..."). You can check all possible parameters in the template's documentation at template:infobox company.
I hope you don't mind, but i took the liberty and reverted your question on the media talkpage. Please make sure to start a new section, when you have a question. Another editor's question was also accidently deleted, so i simply reverted for the time being. Anyway i think, i could help you with your question, so the issue should be resolved. If you need further assistance, just start a new section there at the bottom of the talkpage. Regards. GermanJoe (talk) 19:48, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
