[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a free webhosting service. Wikipedia is not a place to post personal content, host personal websites, or do things that are not directly related to adding to or improving the encyclopedia, as you did at User:Nomalias. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. This message is not meant to discourage you from editing Wikipedia but rather to remind you that the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Thank you. Request reason:
Hi, I'm going to try to explain following the guidelines and also asked a little bit first on the chat, if I'm doing wrong, something is missing or should explain better let me know. What I have done wrong: To have 4 accounts, User:Nomalias hosted notes on math stuff, User:Ebugologist hosted notes on computer stuff, User:Nompedia to really edit the wikipedia had only 3 contributions but undid these and redid on my fourth account User:Abelnadide because I wanted to have those contribution associated with this account and delete the others users but it seems is not possible to delete accounts. What I have done to correct this mess: From hosting I got a warning from User_talk:ST47, the notes on User:Ebugologist were deleted but since this user appears on Category:Wikipedia administrators willing to provide copies of deleted articles, I asked him if he could help me recover those, the notes on User:Nomalias thankfully weren't deleted so I submitted a form to miraheze.org to host my notes there, they took some time to review this but today I received a reply and they are now in https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/User:Nomalias. Created User:Abelnadide to have it like my only account and delete the rest but only exacerbated the problem and got banned. What I think should do: Ask to unblock only User:Abelnadide and if possible delete the rest, and of course give my apologies for all this problem. Nomalias 19:06, 14 June 2019 (UTC) ---- I can put back the edit that JamesBWatson talks about if necessary, at the time I was nervous I hadn't read any guideline so I think it resulted in something that didn't have an adequate tone and since after that I wrote directly on ST47 talk page I felt it fulfilled no purpose to leave it there.Nomalias 22:10, 15 June 2019 (UTC) ---- I agree I could have been more transparent about accounts but when I got warned it was about hosting not multiple accounts and I wasn't hiding about those either as User_talk:ST47 wrote here and deleted the notes on my other account and I speak about editing with a third ("my other account"), then since I asked at miraheze.org to host my notes and I was waiting to recover the others notes I thought I should just should have one account and delete all others users and that is the reason of the last account. About how much I can contribute is not much because my primary focus are the notes on what I learn and that is why my edits were mainly to my userspace but those are now at miraheze.org and I wish to only keep User:Abelnadide where I have what I have contributed and my first Draft, and although I don't know if relevant I was thinking about creating others two drafts on Perelman's entropy and Nagaoka-Thouless theorem. Nomalias 23:46, 15 June 2019 (UTC) ---- Some time happened since the last comment so I just wanted to say I'm still following this talk attentively. Nomalias 19:56, 4 Jule 2019 (UTC) and 01:56, 25 Jule 2019 (UTC) ----
Decline reason:
Did you think it was wise to evade your block and create another sockpuppet, Abeldandide (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki) who created Draft:Schwarzschild-Tangherlini-Metric today? Unblock request denied.

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Bbb23 this is your block, so perhaps you will be willing to comment. It's a CheckUser block, but since the fact that the same person used multiple accounts is not in dispute, that doesn't seem to me to be significant. On the basis of having a fairly brief look at the editing history of all four accounts, it looks to me as though what happened is something like the following. This editor created several accounts, thinking it would be convenient to segregate different types of edits into different accounts. He or she did not declare on user pages that these were alternative accounts of one person, but on the did not attempt to keep the use of more than one account a carefully guarded secret; in fact in at least one (now deleted) edit here this account explicitly referred to "my other account". Two user pages were deleted as web-host violations, but at least in one case the content was related to editing Wikipedia. As far as the use of multiple accounts goes, I haven't found anything that would, as far as I can see, have been considered unacceptable had the editor simply linked the accounts on each of their user pages, and it seems to me that not doing so was simply because they didn't realise there was a need to do so, rather than because of any wish to deceive. That is how it looks to me, but you may have noticed things that I have missed that change the picture, so your comments would be welcome. JamesBWatson (talk) 21:11, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
- @JamesBWatson: Putting aside the socking (I don't think the user was that transparent, at least not about all of the accounts), I don't see how the user's edits, which were mainly to their userspace, benefited the project.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:18, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
- Frankly, I'm inclined to unblock, unless user engaged in nefariousness not mentioned above. Dlohcierekim (talk) 16:59, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- @JamesBWatson and Bbb23: This has been lying here gasping for 3 weeks. Frankly, I was hoping for more feedback. I'm still inclined to give this user a chance-- even if it's a "last chance". Dlohcierekim (talk) 00:32, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
- He gave us feedback today by evading his block and creating another account.

- Yes, and who can blame him or her for that? A perfectly good-faith unblock request is left languishing for over a month, with no reason given for not unblocking. Would you not be likely to create a new account in that situation? Or at least strongly tempted to do so? JamesBWatson (talk) 20:16, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
- @JamesBWatson: That comment is unworthy of you.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:19, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
- Because of your refactoring of this page, including the most recent decline, I have revoked TPA.--Bbb23 (talk) 02:35, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
