Pope Troy

[edit]

Hi, I noticed you've made a number of edits adding information about a musician called Pope Troy to various articles. It's great to see more people working on expanding Wikipedia's coverage of hip-hop topics, but please make sure your additions are supported by reliable sources (see also Wikipedia:Verifiability for more on this topic). Additionally, if you have any personal or professional connection to Pope Troy, you would be considered to have a conflict of interest pertaining to him; if this is the case, you are encouraged to disclose that conflict of interest, and to refrain from adding information about Pope Troy to Wikipedia yourself. ModernDayTrilobite (talkcontribs) 22:53, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I will add valid academic sources. On that page sorry for scaring you like that...i know I didn't reference i will add references and revert the page.. Nukestone (talk) 05:39, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So many artist that have no academic credit on Wikipedia , I feel like you being harsh over pope troy being on Wikipedia, this is why higher education institutes say no to Wikipedia its full fakes as well as greats like Pope, I'll sort it out. But he's african and not all would relate to his relevance. Nukestone (talk) 05:42, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at South Africa, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. General Ization Talk 05:24, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You were warned about this just above. The source you provided does not support the claim you made at this article. General Ization Talk 05:25, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You not even looking at my source...you lying...dude Nukestone (talk) 05:31, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to report you for being a liar. And using south africas page to aid and abate your buddies nasty and Aka and cassper nyovest whom are their without a singl3 a source...stop disrespecting me and undermining and pretending as if my international academic source is child's play to you...you a liar the source does... Nukestone (talk) 05:33, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Remove my source again...I dare you... Nukestone (talk) 05:33, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The source you cited concerns a recording. It does nothing to support the claim that "Pope Troy ... is one [of] the world's academically accredited music artists on Alexander Street", as it offers nothing to support the claim that the artist is "academically accredited". In addition, the artist has no page on WIkipedia, so no link should be inserted in other articles pointing to that non-existent page. Start by reviewing the requirements for notability, and if you believe that it can be established, write an article concerning the artist before mentioning them here. General Ization Talk 05:37, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Rubbish, Proquest sells books all the time to varsity students Alexander street is proquest stuff
..my source is for sale not for free too...I'm allowed to have a journal for sale..what do you mean??? Dude you ever remove anything I add there again im going to report you for soliciting your award to aid and abate sourceless inadequate people from being there ...
I've never seen a library database that doesn't sell sources they all do...that's why I referenced apa 16 style and now you tryna cheat me...dude we know the music industry we know they are capable of paying people like you to keep them in base...I'll report because they have academic accreditation yet they sit...for bet nominations?? Get serious that isn't going to help antibodies child's future i will report you...to my team on wiki.. Nukestone (talk) 05:44, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And do not threaten other editors here, or call them liars. See WP:NPA and WP:AGF. General Ization Talk 05:37, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Go away man... nobodies threaten your life...I will report you I the have the right to tell you too...stay away from my stuff. Nukestone (talk) 05:46, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Don't tell me a isbn of a book thats for sale...is adequate source. You undermining me Nukestone (talk) 05:50, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Having a recording for sale has nothing to do with "academic accreditation". General Ization Talk 05:53, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A sale...I wouldn't be on the site for sale... if the accreditation wasn't valid.main...it requires student id seven registering on the site...please stop harassing me over this.. period. Nukestone (talk) 08:08, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Double check your validity first, please or ill use a link through a varsity portal library. Nukestone (talk) 08:10, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thats for sale on the library database youd have to buy through a student portal...that's why I highlited the link to Alexander street...and if you'd double check proquest acquires products for library databases sir or mam/ as in goes out to procure content good enough that tried and tested before that sale is decided. I'll attach links consider that a book link Nukestone (talk) 08:16, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We've done good for the country, plus tagging proquest and Alexander street is great for that page. Facts Nukestone (talk) 08:19, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nukestone (talk) 11:44, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Tomorrow i plan to make more edits of similar approach something is wrong here Nukestone (talk) 11:46, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It appears that you do not understand the meaning of the term "accreditation". The acceptance of an item for sale at Alexander Street does not mean that the producer of that item is "academically accredited". It simply means that AS believes the item will be of interest to and will sell to the students who are the primary consumers of that platform. It conveys no endorsement, much less "accreditation", of the producer of the item, and any claim that it does is false. In order for you to claim that you are "academically accredited", you will need to cite a source that explicitly describes you in those terms. Failing that, you may not make the claim here. In any case, you may not make edits here that are intended to promote yourself or any item you produce, as promotion of a person or product is specifically prohibited. General Ization Talk 18:38, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
