I like the general direction of this page. Obviously it will need more development, and I think the "Highlight debates/ controversy" is a important topic here, and I think it will be important to avoid possible bias when presenting the debates and the companies involved in the controversy. These modifications to the existing article serve as a good foundation to build upon. I feel the topics that you discuss are very relevant. That being said, it is a bit skeletal. Rather than talking about the definitions of terms or concepts the article brings up, I'd rather it go into more depth over it's applications. Moreover, it would be helpful if you could add more examples of these policies in action. The article offers several good ones but not enough to provide full context. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Michaelsmani (talkcontribs) 17:08, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Article problems

[edit]

Some of your additions to the Corporate social responsibility article very close to the source you cited. Copying text directly from a source is a copyright violation, even if you cite the source. You need to re-state things in your own words; simply changing a few words in a sentence is still a copyright violation if the structure of the sentence is preserved. This was detected by automatic plagiarism detection software. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, your entire edit had to be deleted.

Hello, I'm DVdm. I noticed that in this edit to Corporate social responsibility, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. DVdm (talk) 17:12, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
