Wikiwand
[edit]Please don't add links to Wikiwand. It's a WP:MIRROR of Wikipedia and not a reliable source. Ravensfire (talk) 20:13, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for bringing my attention to it. Onyeike Izuchi (talk) 20:28, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- Same with 'dbpedia' that you added here. If there's anything on the page that indicates it was copied from here, we cannot use it. Thanks. Kuru (talk) 01:36, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
- The 'artsandculture' site you're adding as a reference again (here and here) very clearly identifies itself as copied from Wikipedia. Please consider this a final warning; you need to carefully evaluate the sources you are using - don't just google search for the same sentence. Kuru (talk) 11:54, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Greekmythology.com
[edit]Please don't add material to articles linked to greekmythology.com. It's not a reliable source. Not only does it fail to credit its sources, but it repeats source material without crediting its authorship or origins, and offers no critical scholarly evaluation of the material it publishes. In fact, it's worse than Wikipedia in this respect, as material on Wikipedia can at least be challenged by readers and researchers. For these reasons, I've reverted your edit to Hera. Thanks for reading this.
Just a PS on sources in general: we should not use WP:primary sources without the support of secondary, scholarly source analysis, because that counts as a form of WP:Original research, forbidden in Wikipedia. Haploidavey (talk) 13:26, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
- The site from which you sourced information on Thanatos is even worse. It provides essay outlines as "cheat sheets" for examinations. You'll have to find a legitimate source instead.
- Looking through your contributions, you seem to be engaged in some sort of race or contest, to see how many sources you can provide in a given time-window. This is not good editing practise. Haploidavey (talk) 13:41, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
- Here's another. "Thanatos". texasboo.tripod.com. Please consider going through your contributions and removing any links to sources that don't meet Wikipedia's basic requirements. Thanks in advance, Haploidavey (talk) 14:03, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

Poor sourcing and partial block
[edit]Again, we cannot use mirrors that copy our content as sources, as you did again here, here, here, here, and here. This source here clearly notes it's a fork of Wikipedia content. This source here is a promotional blog that clearly just scraped the Wikipedia article.
Additionally, many of your source fail simple validation. This source here does not support the claim at all; feels unlikely that an article from 2020 would support an announcement from 2021. I have no idea what this is.
I assume you're in another one of those "contests" that pressure people in to making additions as rapidly as possible. Since you're not interested in improving your sourcing after many warnings to slow down, I've blocked you from editing articles directly. You can use the talk page of articles to make suggestions, but fixing your additions is very time consuming. Kuru (talk) 15:20, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
Thank you. Can you unblock me now please, I've learnt my lessons and ways to do better. Thank you. Onyeike Izuchi (talk) 12:40, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
