Please stop ...[edit]

... removing spaces in the initials of J. R. R. Tolkien. Wikipedia style is to use spaces between initials, and Tolkien's name is even used as an example in MOS:INITS. Deor (talk) 23:26, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Deor (talk) 23:47, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There is nothing disruptive about my edits in any way, shape or form, nor is there any semblance of malice in my actions. I simply strive for the use of proper English, nothing more, and I was taught a very long time ago not leave spaces between a series of initials, so I was acting purely on that basis. Now that you have explained the reasoning behind reverting my corrections I know how to proceed in future. I was not aware that I was contravening any Wikipedia style of editing, or indeed that any such style existed, so thank you for bringing this to my attention. It will not be an issue again.
