Please stop ...[edit]

... removing spaces in the initials of J. R. R. Tolkien. Wikipedia style is to use spaces between initials, and Tolkien's name is even used as an example in MOS:INITS. Deor (talk) 23:26, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There is nothing disruptive about my edits in any way, shape or form, nor is there any semblance of malice in my actions. I simply strive for the use of proper English, nothing more, and I was taught a very long time ago not leave spaces between a series of initials, so I was acting purely on that basis. Now that you have explained the reasoning behind reverting my corrections I know how to proceed in future. I was not aware that I was contravening any Wikipedia style of editing, or indeed that any such style existed, so thank you for bringing this to my attention. It will not be an issue again.
