Image copyright problem with Image:Petrie0.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Petrie0.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 12:01, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Petrie.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Petrie.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Infoboxes on Queensland towns/suburbs[edit]

Hi,

Just thought I'd say "thanks" for adding a lot of infoboxes lately. To be honest, I'm cleaning up my watchlist and removing many of the pages that show up due to your edits, but thought I should let you know that people do appreciate your contribution. --Scott Davis Talk 07:22, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to second this, as I had started what adding many info boxes but did not have time to complete it. Great to see it finally being done. Rimmeraj 11:18, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Distance From CBD[edit]

Hi, It appears you are changing the distance to the CBD on the suburb articles, but it does not match the distance quoted in the reference page on ourbrisbane. If you are using another reference can you add it to the page so we can see where your new distances are coming from? thanks Rimmeraj 11:18, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it might be wise to add this as a reference at some stage, as the casual reader may wonder why the wikipedia distances differ from ourbrisbane.com, and some will revert your changes thinking them incorrect. Thanks again. Rimmeraj 12:31, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also I reverted my change to Wynnum West based on on your information about your source. Rimmeraj 12:38, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

copyvio removed[edit]

I removed the copyvio from the above two articles, and declined the speedy. For Minden, i rewrote a little of it on the basis of the source. Even if the result is only an infobox, do not add copyvio from the web page for the region, which is not PD, but carries a copyright notice. Please immediately check your other articles & edit as needed. . DGG (talk) 23:34, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
