Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:22, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks from a Newbie

Remember me, Parker1297? My user name is Typingwestern015. I posted up a column 12 hours ago in Talk:2009 swine flu outbreak in the United States, but I accidentally posted two columns instead. Thanks for erasing one of them for me. I just got here, and I am still trying to get the hang of being a Wikipedian. I hope you read what I said to you soon. P.S. Do you like BrainPOP?

License tagging for File:Space shuttle glow.JPG

Thanks for uploading File:Space shuttle glow.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:06, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Question

Hi, you might find the editing guide [1] a good place to start. --Pontificalibus (talk) 14:58, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

RFA thank you

My RFA passed today at 75/2/1 so I wanted to thank you for your participation in it. Special thanks go to GlassCobra and FlyingToaster for their nomination and support. Cheers! --Rosiestep (talk) 03:06, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

re: Barnstar request

Hello,

I have reviewed your Swine flu contributions per your request. I found them to be valuable, but not "extraordinary" to the level that I normally require before I give a barnstar.

I see you are fairly new to Wikipedia, so you probably don't know the normal "social norms" here. Although, "any editor" may give any barnstar "for any reason," they are normally given for substantially above average contributions. Indeed, it is not uncommon for even very active editors to go months without getting any.

That said, I would encourage you to keep up the good work and offer you a {{WikiCookie}} instead. --ThaddeusB (talk) 17:17, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Keep up the good work!

Parrish Medical Center

The article Parrish Medical Center has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 21:46, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on City of Titusville Student Awards Ceremony requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Ridernyc (talk) 18:01, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
