Sang Sinxay[edit]

Hi Peter, Yeah so the lack of citations was just because I got lazy...although since you asked I will probably go back and work on the article again. When I started- the articles on Lao literature, culture, history etc. were really rudimentary and subject to a lot of bias. If i recall I used Lao Folktales (World Folklore Series)by Wajuppa Tossa, Kongdeuane Nettavong, and Margaret Read MacDonald, I also used The Sin Xai by Ronald Perry in The Hudson Review Vol. 20, No. 1 (Spring, 1967), pp. 11-48...which i think is why originally i had the story transliterated as "Sin Xai" instead of "Sinxay" although there is no standard for that sort of thing in Lao. Feel free to change or alter my summary as I've noticed that you've created a great article on Sinxay. I also noticed that you've published(?) a new illustrated version of the Sinxay- so if you get any orders from Kentucky that would probably be me. While content contributions from knowledgeable editors are greatly appreciated, please do not misuse Wikipedia to advertize your own (?) publications. Regarding this publication you have a clear "conflict of interest" and should not add it yourself (several editors have objected to this addition and reverted it). Please make sure to read WP:COI (and WP:PAID in case it applies), and disclose such a possible connection as required. If you believe that the book should be added, you can request an edit from an uninvolved editor on the article's talkpage using Template:request edit in your message.
