Orphaned fair use image (Image:Let's Make a New Dope Deal.PNG)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Let's Make a New Dope Deal.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use rationale for File:Monsters-vs-aliens-poster.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Monsters-vs-aliens-poster.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:48, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Image poster size
[edit]Hi, I see that you've been uploading posters for film articles, and want to see good job. I just wanted to point out that due to the limitations of non-free images, WP:FILMS is working hard to minimize the size of the images that are uploaded to comply with the guidelines of the criteria (as shown here and here). When uploading future images, make sure that one of the dimensions is 300px or less, so that it complies with the guidelines. If you need further clarification on this, please let me know. Happy editing. (Quentin X (talk) 17:18, 29 March 2009 (UTC))
