Wicca article

[edit]

Hello there Piro-san, your revision here has been reverted because 'organisation' is not a mis-spelling if you're English! (We use -ise a lot where US folk would use -ize.) Editors on Wicca have agreed to standardise on English spelling because Wicca originated in England and we have to choose somehow. There is a list of the conventions we have agreed to at the top of the article's talk page. Best wishes - Kim Dent-Brown (Talk to me) 15:45, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wicca part II

[edit]

Hi Piro-san! Re your apologies at Talk:Wicca: No problems! The best way to learn is to make a few mistakes. Think of it this way: the more mistakes you make, the faster you'll learn! Well... perhaps don't go overboard... but the point is, we can always roll back to the previous version if you really bugger something up, and we don't expect everything to be perfect. Specific help pages you might be interested in are: Tutorial, Manual of Style and Article development. But the most interesting elements of Wikipedia I think are actually its policies, and these are what will be referred back to again and again once you get into serious editing: The five pillars of Wikipedia. It's these few deceptively simple policies that control the entire operation of the encyclopedia and community, and ensure that the articles progress towards order rather than gibbering chaos. Have fun here at WP, and I look forward to seeing you around! Fuzzypeg 02:26, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
