Business: Creating a grammar error[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for trying to improve the encyclopedia. Unfortunately, you seem to be misreading the first sentence of this article, and you seem to be trying to "fix" a problem that doesn't exist (and thereby creating an error). The article starts out with "A business (also known as an enterprise, a company, or a firm) is an organizational entity...", and that's perfectly correct grammar. You keep adding "is" before the parenthetical, and that doesn't make sense and is a mistake. "An eggplant (also known as an aubergine or a brinjal) is a purple vegetable..." is an example of another clause with the same structure, or "John Smith (also known as Johnny, Smitty, or J.S.) is an English footballer...". Thanks for paying close attention to grammar in the future. - Julietdeltalima (talk) 02:04, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
