Double names[edit]

Hello, good to see you. I noticed you'd created Category:Double names, but I think it falls foul of the guideline on overcategorization Wikipedia:OCAT#Unrelated subjects with shared names. I wondered whether it would work better as one of the Lists of people - List of people with repetitive names, perhaps? I didn't want to nominate the category at WP:CFD straightaway, as I'd be interested in your thoughts. FWIW, my father-in-law would qualify for such a list, if only he was notable! CfD nomination of Category:Double names[edit]

Category:Double names, which you created, has been nominated for deletion, merging, or renaming. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the Categories for discussion page. Thank you.

I just saw the above message from User:Bencherlite— sorry, had I known this had been opened for discussion here, I may have held off on this! It's been started now, though, so above is the notification of how to get there. Good Ol’factory (talk) 11:03, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
