Did you...?
[edit]Hey Raffi, did you get my last message? Also, what is the Armenian name for Agdam? -- Clevelander 13:33, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hello, yup I got the last question, don't really know the answer. Agdam in Armenian is simply Aghdam (Աղդամ). --RaffiKojian 04:40, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Noravank
[edit]I think if we can add several in line references the article can be nominated for a good article status. I'll start looking for sources.--Eupator 03:59, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- Done. Btw Monophysitism is a heresy which is vehemently denied by the Armenian Church. The Armenian Church is Myaphisite.--Eupator 14:39, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, I've included the article on the template since it is a good one, next time please list it on the day the majority of the expansion was done (in this case it should have been listed on the 9th on the suggestion page). Thanks.--Peta 10:01, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- It was on the page for an hour before being disqualified. The major update was done on August 9 so it could only have been nominated for August 9! When we submitted the earliest available date was already August 12, and we placed it under August 15 :)--Eupator 15:19, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not certain Raffi, it was spelled Harutyun (standard ROA transliteration) where it was mentiond he's from Vienna. It is however quite likely that his name is spelled Arutyun given that his name is Vladimir.--Eupator 18:22, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
Genocide recognition
[edit]Hey Raffi, I made this template awhile back and I thought you might want to add it to your user page (like I have):
File:Armenia Tsitsernakaberd.jpg | This user opposes denial of the Armenian Genocide. |
-- Clevelander 23:04, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- looks good, but it doesn't fit under my two current box themes - so I'll wait to see if I expand the whole deal or not... --RaffiKojian 03:06, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Zvartnots
[edit]Raffi, is the Armeniapedia Zvartnots info in the PD? I have a ton of pictures and illustrations (a high res reconstrcution) for Zvartnots and want to expand the article.--Eupator 17:40, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- Can you name the brochure so that we can credit it as a reference? Thanks. --Eupator 18:08, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Shusha tank
[edit]Hey Raffi, can I upload the image of the T-72 memorial in Shusha found on Armeniapedia [1] on to Wikipedia? Or can you do it so you can get rid of the formalities such as the licensing and all? Thanks in advance. --MarshallBagramyan 18:56, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- Also, could you remove the "Armeniapedia" tag on the image? I know how important it is to make sure no one takes your work and claim it for themselves but this is for the sake of clarity. --MarshallBagramyan 21:21, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- I know the "Armeniapedia" sign was almost indiscernable from the rest of the image but I figured it would be better to just remove it then lest you might be asked to remove it sooner or later if one of the higher ups on Wikipedia spotted it. Thanks. --MarshallBagramyan 03:04, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Armeniapedia
[edit]My friend Avik Topchyan notified me that Armeniapedia is down today. I checked it out and it looks as though everything has been wiped from the domain! What happened? -- Clevelander 10:27, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- Looks like he did it again. Is there any way to stop this guy? -- Clevelander 00:05, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
- Raffi, I'm happy to see Armeniapedia back up again. How much of it, if any, was lost? --DanielNuyu 09:49, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
Happy independence day!
[edit]Today Armenia celebrates 15 years of independence! Kenats't! -- Clevelander 00:26, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Zangezur Mountains
[edit]Hey Raffi, two questions. 1) Do you have any photographs of the Zangezur Mountains? 2) What does the term "Zangezur" literally mean in Armenian? -- Clevelander 11:26, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Armenian Intelligence Agency?
[edit]I'm sure that Armenia has its own intelligence agency, but what is its name? -- Clevelander 02:38, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks!
[edit]Thanks for the image of the Zangezur Mountains! -- Clevelander 10:52, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Nakhichevan
[edit]I have a question for you as you're from the South Caucasus region. Are there any Armenian cultural monuments left in Nakhichevan or have they all been completely wiped out? Also, do you think that there's any hope for reuniting Nakhichevan with Armenia? -- Clevelander 00:46, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]I am a user from Turkey. We have so much debate here about Armenians and Kurds. I hope we may talk on those issues. I d like to know your ideas.
thanks
Allright but whats wrong with that? I mean assimilation. That is a fact and have been in progress for many years all over the world. I think you guys are a little bit too emotional or having complexes. If you say so the whole Europe should be punished and also USA if you consider that as an evil deed. Anyways, thats not the main point but gives me clues about your perspective.
I sould say that Armenians being used and abused by imperial ideologies. As it is not their policy just to "help" people, that is a fact. And by the way you say Armenians were second class, so how can you explain the fact that there were many Armenian ministers in Ottoman Administration. There is no parallelism with Germans indeed. And aslo I must tell you that the article about the genocide really seems a mere propaganda, sorry.
THanx anyway

[edit]I have removed the copyright notice from the article on Andrei Sakharov. If you did not intend to release Image:Sakharov statue-dcp0660.jpg under GFDL, please ask for deletion of the image. -- Petri Krohn 22:35, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- You have absolutely no right to request a photo be deleted for having attribution as a condition, please show me ONE precedent where this has ever happened before making such demands. It is perfectly acceptable to allow free use of your copyright photo on this site while asking to be attributed. There is a specific tag for that if you care to click on the photo and see. --RaffiKojian 03:15, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- You have misunderstood me. I am certainly not asking or even proposing that a image be deleted. I just noticed that User:Dbenbenn had added the {{GFDL}} tag to your image. If this was not your intention, you should take appropriate action. As for the use of the image, I assume it is provided under GFDL (in addition to your "for any purpose" + attribution licence). Thus, there is no need for attribution in Wikipedia articles. -- Petri Krohn 03:59, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
Question
[edit]Hey Raffi, just wondering (and I asked this to some of our Armenian colleagues) but do you think that Armenia will ever reclaim any of its territory from Turkey? -- Clevelander 20:18, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Shushi
[edit]Hey i noticed theres information on the shushi massacres even on your site i was wondering if you think this article is appropriate i stated references on the talk page on Shushi Massacre Nareklm 04:30, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- My question was do you think this article is reliable or if your educated on this subject I've heard of it many times, whether or not it was Armenia's city killing a certain number of minorities constitutes as genocide or massacre or if that states it in the article it will be fixed. Well the article says Azerbaijan but its in Azerbaijan so i think saying it took place in Azerbaijan is accurate although it wasn't back than or if it was no mans land. Nareklm 00:33, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Barev and congrats!
[edit]Hey Raffi! I saw you in this month's AGBU magazine (regarding Armenian blogs). Nice work! -- Clevelander 01:28, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
you support independence of everything?
[edit]In Turkey, Turks and Kurks are getting married. We dont know how many kurk are living? They are so mixed. How we will seperate turks and kurds? Even in Istanbul, there are more than 7 million. But belive me if they get a seperate country there will be no kurds living in istanbul. All will be deported! we will kick them to there. We(Turks) hate them all, and they are shameful. Because they opened a meaningless war! The USA and europian countries provocate and support them. Because these lands(they called kurdistan) are so valuable for Jews.
