A tag has been placed on Idiom Design and Consulting requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Help!! how do I get my page off deletion

[edit]

Please give me your feedback on what you think about the Idiom design and consulting page. Idiom is one of India's largest design firms. the article is up for speedy deletion. let me know what i can do to correct it.

Hello. Per the notice you received above, a tag had been placed on Idiom Design and Consulting requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please note that after review, I have declined the deletion request on the basis that the article contains credible claims of significance that meet the requirements to avoid speedy deletion, so you do not need to worry about this article being speedily deleted, and there is no longer any need to place the template {{hangon}} in the article. Please note that speedy deletion is only one of three deletion processes on Wikipedia; my decline does not prevent users from invoking the separate, longer term deletion methods of proposed deletion or bringing the article to articles for deletion. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --RL0919 (talk) 17:34, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up.

How do I get Idiom Design and Consulting to come up as one of the options when someone searches for Idiom using the search engine?

[edit]

The page is brand new. You need to allow a little time for the index to be updated. --RL0919 (talk) 19:28, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, How do i add tags?

[edit]

What kind of tags?

By tags I mean, if some one types or searches for "idiom", "design", or "consulting" , will this page also show up on the search result list?

If you mean the results for the Wikipedia search function, it already shows up. See this for example (if I counted correctly, it is the 22 item on the results list). --RL0919 (talk) 13:56, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, let me suggest that if you need help, you should probably add a {{Helpme}} tag on your talk page, or visit Wikipedia:Help desk. I happened to notice that you posted these questions, but you shouldn't assume that someone is watching your talk page. --RL0919 (talk) 19:30, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the advice.

Help?

[edit]

You used {{Helpme}} there in the middle of the page, but you didn't ask a question.

For more help, you can either;

  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.

The last of those is particularly useful - please try it; pop in now and say hello.  Chzz  ►  05:23, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
