The article Uday Ananthan has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Dam 999

[edit]

Hello,
Please don't add Crew as a separate section in wiki film articles. It is not as per Wiki policy for film articles, since Wikipedia is not a credits dataabse. Use Infobox to provide major crew.

Hello, please discuss in Talk page of Dam 999. Please do not revert as per 3 revert policy.

Caution

[edit]

I was asked to look in at Dam 999. User:Anishviswa is quite correct. Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Film, we do not list all the crew postions, and instead rely on the infobox to provide readers with only the major crew positions. IF minor crew are to be included in the aricle for any reason, it is best it be as well-written and properly sourced and contextual prose, and should be within the "production" section... but please... not as a bulleted list. And IF included in the production section, should include sourced information discussing the reasons behind some of the crew decisions, thoughts of the crew themselves about their poistions and duties, and some brief explorations of their careers before and after the film. Pretty much, of no one else has written about a crew member, we do not either. And please note, as much as folks might rely on it outside of Wikipedia, here within the project it is not considered a reliable source. We do not use it to cite informaton within an article. I have removed those as well and encourage you to find reliable sources to replace them.

I do note that in what you have provided, script doctor Rob Tobin, production designer Thotta Tharani, music director Ousepachan, and sound designer Shajith Koyeri are bluelinks that lead readers to other articles. These are suitable in the production section as contextual and sourced prose... but again... not as a bullet list. I will be removing the crew section and encourage you to consider how to present crew as sourced prose... if at all. And please be careful not to violate WP:3RR and to not engage in edit warring over content. Doing such has repercussions. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 09:38, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are re-adding what was pointed out as inappropriate and, despite repeated requests, are not involving yourself in discussions. I am removing that bulleted "crew" section again. Please do not re-add minor crew unless it is done per instructions of Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Film. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 19:14, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation

[edit]

I have asked for clarification at MOS:FILM and invite you to participate in the discussion. Cheers, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 20:51, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You Michael! I read it and there are so many with the opinion what I have. So I didn't write any thing. I am really thankful for the invitation! Cheers!
