Proposed deletion of Captcha Breaker / Captcha Solver[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Captcha Breaker / Captcha Solver, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

WP:NOTHOWTO

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.    7   talk Δ |   04:48, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

Hi - since Wikipedia gets a huge amount of site traffic per day we prefer not to have placeholder pages. Instead you can use the sandbox or your user sub-pages for testing while you build out the article. I would like to politely suggest you edit there while you are building your first article. However, I would like to recommend that you read the WP:NOTHOWTO link I sent above, because as it stands today your article on CAPTCHA is not encyclopedic. Regards.    7   talk Δ |   04:52, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

COI[edit]

Also, your links to an external site which match your name might be considered WP:SPAM or a WP:COI to some users. Please be careful when adding external links. Regards.    7   talk Δ |   04:54, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your article[edit]

Wikipedia does not allow how-to articles or personal essays. You may be interested in taking your article to WikiHow or Google Knol, websites that do allow this sort of writing. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 14:36, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Captcha Breaker / Captcha Solver[edit]

Please don't remove maintenance tags off of articles unless you fix the problems that they are addressing. Thank you, T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 13:32, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 12:52, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on User:Rajtuhin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
