You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Rastarzyk/sandbox/EdTech, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Disclosure of employment[edit]

Hello Rastarzyk. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to User:Rastarzyk/sandbox/EdTech, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Rastarzyk. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Rastarzyk|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 18:52, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi DRM310,

I do not have a financial stake in this? Yes I own the trademark but there is no monetary value connected to it whatsoever at this time? I am confused by the request? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rastarzyk (talkcontribs)

No, I think that you've satisfied my inquiry. Even if you have no financial stake, you have an obvious conflict of interest. We recommend that you not write about a subject where you have a personal or professional involvement.
I think you might have a fundamental misunderstanding about Wikipedia's purpose. It's not a place to tell the world about a subject you're involved with. It is for topics that are notable - that is, of interest to the world at large over a period of time. We use evidence from sources that are both reliable (those with established reputations for fact-checking and editorial oversight) and independent (neutral third parties with no vested interest in the topic) to gauge this interest. Sources connected to the subject are not reliable and won't count towards establishing notability. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:06, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe the assessment is correct, in fact, I find it odd since the information provided is a matter of fact, info pulled directly from the USPTO website with no bias nor personal influence included.

That alone doesn't make the topic notable. It shows that it it exists, but existence doesn't equal notability. You'll need to show that this has already received in-depth coverage from third-party sources to demonstrate that is it worthy of inclusion. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:11, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I can likely achieve that, can I have the opportunity to edit this entry?

The administrator RHaworth has already deleted the original copy. You can ask him to WP:REFUND your deleted copy or (preferably) try again with the WP:Article wizard. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:55, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed that you may have made your last edit here while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Sitting idle for a long period of time may cause your session to expire, requiring you to log in again. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:58, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
