Exit ramp
Hi, I just noticed your tweak of the image hook and caption after it went to Queue 2. Since the bolded article is about the freeway, why are you focusing attention on the building with your placement of the word "(pictured)"? The exit ramp is clearly seen in the picture too. Yoninah (talk) 22:30, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: The change was made on a consideration that the picture is more accurately a depiction of the building than of the freeway (or its exit ramp), so placing "(pictured)" after the building seemed to be more appropriate. I'm unsure that it draws too much attention away from the bolded article, but I wouldn't object to moving it closer to the bolded link (although ideally after the words "exit ramp", as it was before). — RAVENPVFF · talk · 01:20, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you. I think the current placement of the word
(pictured)
does draw attention away from the bolded article, and would like to restore it to:- ... that an exit ramp (pictured) of the Ikeda Route in Osaka passes through the Gate Tower Building, taking up part of the building's fifth, sixth, and seventh floors?
- Since it's now in Queue 2, pinging Maile, Amakuru, Vanamonde, Casliber, Cwmhiraeth for help here. Yoninah (talk) 11:27, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you. I think the current placement of the word

Hi, I reverted the hook edit here and at WP:DYKA because (1) the edit is wrong, and (2) the edit was seen only in the last 2 hours on the main page. I was not awake when the change was made and so had no input into it. Yoninah (talk) 17:35, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

In this edit, you added commas after short introductory phrases such as "In 1351". In BrEng, it is quite common to exclude such commas. I do not think they should be added when the article the TFA blurb is based on excludes them. I know some editors that consider this as a microaggression. Just some food for thought. --- C&C (Coffeeandcrumbs) 06:50, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Coffeeandcrumbs: Noted; will bear this in mind. I do use BrEng myself and would prefer the inclusion of such commas, but I recognise that this might create undesirable discrepancies with the TFA itself. Kind regards. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 17:54, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
