Thank you so much Brunton! I already LOVE Wikipedia and had previously contributed but never made an account until now. Also, thanks a lot for the Tutorial. And since I'm fairly new in editing, it'll be really helpful to have friends like you and others to help with my queries at the Teahouse. Once again, thanks a lot! Welcome![edit]

Hi Ray Frost that's great you enjoy it here and are exploring how things work! Feel free to ask me about anything an I'll try to help. You already said to me "I have created a page on Organic phase. But I want to add some templates / warning box (or whatever it is) describing that the page is new and it needs more info and references" - for Organic phase, it would have been better to continue to work on Draft:Organic phase than to move it into mainspace, since it currently has no references. As you are no doubt learning, claims need to be cited to reliable sources on wikipedia. There's no shame to work on draft articles or indeed to use the Wikipedia:Articles for creation process - then you'll get help along the way. I myself don't put articles directly into mainspace, for example recently I am working on User:Mujinga/DraftWyers. Hope this all makes sense! Mujinga (talk) 12:20, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I made a mistake. Some user names Citadeol have already made a draft after I created the page but maybe I missed it and kept editing the original article. The redirect tag is also confusing me as it clearly says he created a draft page and it opens the page he created. But then it also shows a different draft page... Can you please check that too. Sorry if I am disturbing you. Thanks again in advance!! Ray Frost (talk) 13:07, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sure no problem, please keep on editing the page at Draft:Organic phase - if you add references, it can later be moved back tobeing a page in mainspace, although it might also be worth seeing if the content is better merged into an already existing page such as Solvent - the people to ask about that could be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Chemistry. For now, I've added Template:Proposed deletion to Organic phase and it will be deleted by an administrator after seven days. Can I help in any other way? There are no silly questions here :) Mujinga (talk) 13:54, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I had the same idea about redirecting it to the Solvent extraction page, but I saw a page on aqueous phase too. So maybe someone wanted to make a page on that but didn't have enough information on it... I'll surely discuss this on the said Chemistry Wikipedia forum section. Thanks for being such a great mentor!! I'll surely reach out to you in future for more help in editing :P Ray Frost (talk) 14:18, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Glad you are having fun! Please do reach out if you need to :) It might be worth expanding a section at for example Solvent extraction (which goes to Liquid–liquid extraction) which then could branch off to its own page later on? But you are the expert here not me, I'm not a chemist! By the way, please don't be offended if people are sometimes abrupt online, I think it's easy to forget we are all people behind the usernames (this is something I try to remember as well). Happy editing! Mujinga (talk) 14:23, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for support and encouragement friend!! Fun fact, I'm a student at 12th grade and not an expert. I just use Wikipedia a lot for easy knowledge... and I thought it would be nice if I contributed too. Also I don't mind others as they have a lot more experience than me. Thanks once again!! Ray Frost (talk) 15:21, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm pretty sure you still know more about chemistry than me haha! So the Organic phase article has been deleted (therefore it's now a redlink above) and Draft:Organic phase is there to be worked on, cheers! Mujinga (talk) 14:00, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Organic phase[edit]

Hello, Ray Frost. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Organic phase".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted.
