What exactly is "extraordinary" about quoting an obesity specialist? If the name of the group is a source of contention, simply replace "HAES advocates" with "obesity deniers", as she calls them in the article cited at Health at Every Size. Regardless of the name, this information is perfectly relevant in the Criticism section of an article about a fringe viewpoint. -Anagogist (talk) 16:20, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Anagogist: The exceptional claim is that Dr. Sharma is talking about Health at Every Size, when he's not. I apologize if the wording of my comment is what's causing the issue, I'll try to be more clear in the future. HAES is never mentioned in Dr. Sharma's article, and it's clear from other articles he's written that he doesn't believe that proponents of HAES are "obesity deniers". The idea that he's talking about HAES is an assumption that was made by whoever added the reference, and it's not up to Wikipedia editors to make assumptions like this (which you're also suggesting I do by saying that I should 'simply replace "HAES advocates" with "obesity deniers"'). The criticism section should be reserved for criticisms of Health at Every Size since that's what the article is about, not criticisms of other groups that are being conflated with HAES.
