A tag has been placed on Rachel Wright's 100 Words requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Whether or not you wrote the actual words of the article, if you, who posted them, are in fact Rachel Wright, or are related or connected to her, you should read the guideline WP:Autobiography. In any case, as an encyclopedia, Wikipedia is selective about subjects for articles: they need to have notability, which is not a matter of subjective opinion but needs to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and press releases. More detail at WP:Notability (people) and, for artists, WP:CREATIVE, and good general advice about writing articles at WP:Your first article. JohnCD (talk) 21:01, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Repeat speedy deletion notice

[edit]

This has been deleted again. It would be unwise and unconstructive to continue to post this without improvement. Please follow the link to WP:CSD in the above speedy deletion notice. Articles that meet the criteria at WP:CSD can be deleted at the discretion of the reviewing admin. Any deficiencies should be remedied before reposting.

You should consider working on this offline or on a test page you can create by clicking User:Reawright/sandbox. Please consider the links provided in the previous templated message. At the very least, please read User:Dloh/new.

Begin by defining or describing your topic. Write clearly and informatively. State, for example, what a person is famous for, where a place is located and what it is known for, or the basic details of an event and when it happened. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, so subjects must meet notability requirements. Please see Wikipedia:Notability for information about notability requirements.

At the very minimum, When you create a new article, bear in mind that it should contain enough

If you do choose to work on this online, please be aware that it likely will again wind up being deleted if it remains in the present unimproved state. Please do not repost this in its present form. You can discuss this with me on my talk page. Place the {{helpme}} template on your talk page if you need help. Cheers, and happy editing. Dlohcierekim 15:34, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
