License tagging for Image:Stewman.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Stewman.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:09, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Rebound91. I deleted this article because its subject fails the criteria set in WP:BIO and WP:N. Therefore, the article was speedily deleted because there was no assertion of the notability of the subject. This means that you have to cite secondary sources to verify the information and prove his notability. Sources may encompass published works in all forms and media. Availability of secondary sources covering the subject are a good test for notability. Perhaps a news story on the player can help keep this article out of deletion. —Anas talk? 05:57, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well I'm not really sure if the sources you provided can confirm his notability. But, anyway, you can get another shot at the article; you can recreate it if you still have the text, or I can restore it for you. The article might go through an article for discussion process to determine whether the subject is notable enough to stay. —Anas talk? 10:38, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have restored this article. Please try to verify the information in the article with reliable sources. I might nominate it for WP:AfD in two days. —Anas talk? 20:07, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
