Speedy deletion of Template:Vain

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:Vain requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 03:38, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: File:BacheletRumsfeld.jpg

[edit]

File:BacheletRumsfeld.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:BacheletRumsfeld.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:BacheletRumsfeld.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 22:35, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You suggested this merge; but did not begin the discussion. Do you plan to follow through? If not, I'll revert the suggestion. TJRC (talk) 18:54, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like "no," so I have reverted. TJRC (talk) 00:33, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Ryan Crocker, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James Cunningham (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

So, do you want us to remove the contents of this category from Category:American women writers and Category:Women novelists, or do you want to upmerge to those parents as well, and just ignored those? Or do you want to only upmerge to one of those other parents, and not the other.John Pack Lambert (talk) 20:44, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

We should make changes based on the consensus which emerges from the CfD discussion. They'll probably have a bot do the work. neilk (talk) 01:16, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. There's a User:NeilK (he used work for the Wikimedia Foundation). Your signature may confuse people a bit. I happened to notice it in the context of this monster. Just thought you'd like a heads-up as seeing it made me do a double take. :-) --MZMcBride (talk) 00:16, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Uncle Louie, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Customs and Border Protection (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
