Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I see that you have blanked the Vancouver Skydiving article that you had just recently created. Is it your intent that the article be deleted? -- Tom N (tcncv) talk/contrib 00:29, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if this will reach you. I did intend to delete it, I am just experimenting outside of the sandbox and wasnt sure how to delete the page. How do I?

Sorry for the delay in responding – I meant to chek back here sooner. Actual deletion of an article is a restricted operation, but there are several ways to request as outlined in the rather complicated Wikipedia:Deletion policy. However, as the author, you can simply blank the page (as you did), which will generally attract the attention of someone who will formally request article deletion. Another more direct way is to add {{Db-g7}} to the article, to specifically request deletion as the author. If you have any questions, you can post a note to the Wikipedia:Help desk and will likely receive a prompt response. -- Tom N (tcncv) talk/contrib 03:07, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Vancouver Skydiving has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOT a list of what to do where

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Toddst1 (talk) 01:02, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
