Where to buy FFX DVDs, artbooks, etc..

[edit]

I am getting a lot of questions on this lately. I bought mine at eBay. I do not sell them. Please do not leave any questions about Final Fantasy merchandise here on my talk page. If you do feel you need my help, look for me on my wiki e-mail. Good Luck at eBay! Renmiri 00:00, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Annex

[edit]

Sounds like a good plan. I'd be glad to co-admin it with you.

Also, can this annex be used for Star Wars and other works of fiction? This has a lot of potential :) — Deckiller 03:27, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Piccolo did some good work with that article, even if it wasn't in exactly the right tone/style for Wikipedia (at least nowadays). Did he help in any FA pushes? — Deckiller 19:12, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome :) So I guess we start pasting articles? How do you want to organize this? — Deckiller 05:48, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can help to import templates and whatnot today. — Deckiller 14:56, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

re:WPFICT

[edit]

We just have to be careful, since Wikia isn't directly releated to Wikipedia. — Deckiller 00:11, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spira article.

[edit]

Are you still looking to sort the spira (final fantasy) article?

If so, i'd be willing to help.

Cheers.

re:MoS

[edit]

Hmm? It was just the Final Fantasy MoS :-P — Deckiller 22:41, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:FICT isn't dead yet; the main reason I'm reducing my active is due to IRL issues. — Deckiller 22:52, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Annex

[edit]

I broke the ice at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Protoss Empire. Also left you a message on the Annex. — Deckiller 01:55, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think we still have a bunch of templates and whatnot that need to be imported, based on my test of transwiking Locations in Spira. Do you think we should keep the standard Wikipedia organization of articles? I think it'll be the easiest way. — Deckiller 01:58, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, we still have a lot of templates to add. I still haven't been able to figure out how to add those. Few other things: should we have "stable" versions (the archived versions) and "edit" versions? — Deckiller 02:08, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It says "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." — Deckiller 02:19, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome :) We'll probably need to protect some of these templates as well. — Deckiller 02:30, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If we can do this to pages and images as well, then I'll be dancing. — Deckiller 02:32, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, we should stick to Wikipedia's image policies. This next round of imports is taking forever; I tried twenty templates or so. It's been loading for 5 minutes :( — Deckiller 02:38, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We won't need most of the templates, fortunately; just the fictional ones, I assume? And a few more of the typical ones, like cite web, etc? We could always import as we go if necessary. — Deckiller 02:42, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bleh; the CVG navigation template looks ugly on Annex for some reason. — Deckiller 03:21, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, I'm not sure. Feel free to play around with those; I don't mind either way :) — Deckiller 03:34, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For the actual pages, exporting them might be too time consuming. We might be better off just copy and pasting and wikilinking to the Wikipedia edit history, which will be preserved by the redirect. — Deckiller 03:41, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Monobook

[edit]

I saw this and was wondering if there is a way I can put it in wikipedia? Thanks, ~ thesublime514talksign 02:06, July 3, 2007 (UTC)

  • Well, yes, it is a very easy fix but... It is more for people who own their own wiki. I imagine there are very few people who have access to the source code here at Wikipedia, if you are one of the lucky ones, just add it to the top following the instructions I gave. Renmiri 04:35, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • I thought that might be the case. I suppose there isn't any way to fix it using my own monobook. Thanks anyway ~ thesublime514talksign 18:17, July 3, 2007 (UTC)

Family

[edit]

To inject some lightheartedness into this, your household sounds great, Ren. Is the husband a gamer as well? — Deckiller 21:37, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

annex.wikia.com

[edit]

Hey Renmiri, I just found annex.wikia.com via Deckiller's talk page and I think it's a great idea. Are you still active there, and if so, could you give me any hints how I could get involved and help? —AldeBaer (c) 01:40, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

IFD on Silmeria.gif

[edit]

Realize you're on vacation, but the scan of the Japanese cover art for Silmeria is up for deletion at IFD at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion#Image:Silmeria.gif. Mind you, I think it should be kept, but yeah. Stop by if you get back. SnowFire 22:34, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!!

[edit]

Hi, my name is Kyle and I was reading about what you've done on the FFX info for WP and I'm really glad to know that someone is giving respect :) ;). As I browsed, I noticed that you said that you have a copy of the Final Fantasy X Art book. I've been trying to find that like crazy, but no dice. Do you think that you might be able to send me a scan of the front cover (I can read/write/speak Japanese) so that I can check the Japanese name and author? I've tried some direct and liberal translations, and still no dice. I would greatly appreciate this! my email is kyle.raub@gmail.com Oh, and I have a Doctoral Dissertation in Psychology that a man wrote about FFX. If you would like a good long read, let me know. I haven't even finished it myself, but so far, it's amazing. Cheers and I hope to hear from you soon! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.200.100.75 (talk) 15:46, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Blitzball?

[edit]

Uh, Ren, you should have read what I really did. Someone merged the information on Blitzball from John Knowles' novel into the Minigames of Final Fantasy article. I restored the merging by placing the FFX Blitzball info into Minigames article, and Knowles' Blitzball info into the Blitzball article, placing a disambig link to Minigames. Then I totally abandoned any attention on that article. After so long, I opened it again, and its back to being the FFX Blitzball article. Idk...

Anyway, the Wikiproject sure is not the same without the good old team. In fact, the Wikiproject's been quiet. It's really sad. — Blue 06:02, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mind? Not at all, go ahead. I think all editors should have that black banner as a sign of protest against...uhm... whatever the grudge they have against them wikipedia elitists.
But back to WP:FF: I opted for an FA for Final Fantasy Tactics the other day, but it failed. Not even one editor from the WP:FF came up to support; they shouldn't bother signing up the roll call! How I miss the good old days with you, Deck, Daedalus... p/s: do you think I have a place in the WP:FF Hall of Fame? — Blue 06:21, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Cool! I joined the Wikiproject on 3 July 2006, here's the diff to prove it [1]! That's 1 year and 3 months already. ^_^ — Blue 06:38, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My exploits are focused around Ivalice related articles, like Ivalice, FFXII FA, FFT, FFTA, and the new Ivalice games that is and will be released: FFXII:Revenant Wings, FFTA2, FFT:War of the Lions. I also helped with FFIX FA, FFVIII and somewhat related Vagrant Story FA. Also, some FF tweaks here and there... — Blue 06:51, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hah, what irony, Ren! But still, I've read user comments on its deletion discussion and I must say users are very supportive of your plight. Kudos to you! — Blue 21:37, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, all but one, the original proponent, voted to userify the template, which is ok. So it's now userifyied Renmiri (talk) 19:49, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Centralized TV Episode Discussion

[edit]

Over the past months, TV episodes have been reverted by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [2]. --Maniwar (talk) 00:20, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
