Great work

[edit]

Hi Rich - I just wanted to say great work on Toshio Iwai. You must be quite familiar with him, right? Well, as a mark of my appreciation, have some sushi - hope you like it.. :-) Cormaggio @ 09:18, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I know Toshio Iwai through his music - I saw him recently showcasing his magical musical instruments (including Tenori-on), and it just blew me away. If you ever get the chance to see him live, please do so - it's amazing! Oh, and here's something to wash down the sushi - hope you haven't finished it yet ;-) Cormaggio @ 15:16, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was indeed at that Futuresonic gig with Toshio Iwai (and friends), Fennesz and Battles. Wow - what a gig! Cormaggio @ 10:51, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Rich Lem, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Otocky - Famicom Disk System.png) was found at the following location: User:Rich Lem/Sandbox. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 03:50, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am a french contributor and i search for game designer photo. I see you take a photo of Eiji Aonuma, but we cant use it because the license CC-BY-NC-SA is not free. I would like to know if you agree to release this image under a free license. If you agree can you remove the NC tag ? Or upload it on Commons (Commons:Category:People in video game industry). Thanks a lot. --fr:user:bayo. 16:46, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Otocky - Famicom Disk System.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Otocky - Famicom Disk System.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 15:17, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
